What is the event attire?
We encourage you to dress up in the spirit of this year's auction theme: Celebrating Superheroes! Come as your favorite superhero, whether that's Wonder Woman, Batman, Black Panther, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Frozone, Captain America, Big Barda, or any of the many other options out there.
If you're a parent looking for an excuse to shed your usual daily attire of lycra and coming in a superhero costume feels like more of the same, then by all means dress up in semi-formal or formal attire!
Really, anything goes and each auction usually has a mix of it all. Dress however you will feel most comfortable and have the most fun!
Insider tip: We will have a supply of capes, wands, and masks that you can borrow at check-in if you don't come in costume but decide last-minute you'd like a Clark Kent moment to transform into a superhero.
Can I bring guests?
Yes! By all means, invite grandparents, neighbors, friends to join you. The more the merrier when it comes to supporting our school. Everyone knows it takes a village.
Will childcare be provided?
No. The auction is an adults-only event. Line up a sitter and make it a grown-up night out. You've earned this!
Will there be vegan and/or gluten-free food available?
Yes! We will have a vegan/gluten-free option available on the menu.
I can't attend the auction, but I'd still like to bid. Is this possible?
You must attend the auction to be able to bid on items in the live
auction. But after the auction takes place, if there are any packages still available, we will announce them on Konstella.
How does payment work?
All sales are final and there are no exchanges or refunds. (Consider it a donation to the school!) We will gladly accept your payment by currency, check, VISA, Amex, Discover or MasterCard. Payment in full is mandatory at the auction. Checks should be made payable to “North Beach PTA.” Winning bidders can pay for their purchases with the cashier at the close of the live auction or sign up for Express Checkout at registration. All auction items will be awarded to one purchaser only. The top bid for an auction item will not be split among bidders who may have agreed to pay a portion of the top bid amount. A purchaser who wishes to split the payment for an auction item must collect the individual payments from the other bidder(s).
