Health & Safety
The North Beach PTA will follow State of Washington and King County guidelines for special events. Currently, face masks will not be required for the Mar. 12th Auction. Let’s keep the North Beach community healthy.
100% Community Participation
If unable to make the event in person, you can still participate in all the fun. Our event kicks off with an Online Silent Auction March 4-12. Bidding begins on the March 4th at 12 p.m. and continues through March 12th at 7:30 p.m. The entire North Beach community is encouraged to go online, pick up your phones and bid! Ticket purchases are not required to bid.
What We Expect of Guests
Please stay home if you don’t feel well, tested positive for COVID-19, or were exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days prior to the Auction.
What North Beach PTA Will Do
- The North Beach PTA will work with venue staff to ensure that regular cleaning protocols are followed throughout the event.
- The North Beach PTA will continue to evaluate these and additional protocols, as well as federal, state, and county recommendations, to mitigate risk of infection during in-person events so everyone can have a safe, enjoyable experience.
What factors did the North Beach PTA consider?
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continuously monitored and assessed various factors with respect to delivering in-person events. These include:
- Rules and guidance at the federal, state, local, and facility levels;
- Evolving public health and safety protocols and vaccination rates; and
- Financial models. As our students reemerge from the pandemic, the Auction is needed to fund the guidance counselor and tutors during the 2022-2023 school year. These services are essential for our children to recover and thrive in a post-pandemic world.
These factors remain fluid, and we will continue to monitor them in the coming months to ensure we can deliver safe, informative, and fun event that also provides essential funding for our students.
